New York Fashion Week! like this means anything to me considering I am in San Diego.
I will tell you what NYFW means to me; I like to see what stores will be emulating this season and it all comes from what the designers put out this week from Feb. 9 – Feb. 16. It is not like the average college student has the funds or the time to attend New York Fashion Week or even go to New York for that matter.
So thank God for the internet and live streaming, my Friday consists of NYFW and homework, maybe even possibly the beach.
Amongst Rebecca Minkoff, BCBG Max Azria, Rebecca Taylor and a few other designers; Nicholas K caught my attention with a single accessory.
What I like about his collection is that it was very wearable. Statement pieces that weren’t too “out there” the playful and fun part to his collection was the accessories. Very western themed: ten-gallon hats, bull-horn necklaces and desert shades. I don’t think I could bear wearing a turtle shell around my neck but his clothes are lovely.
The turtle necklace is Jewelry by Matt, check it out here
“Nicholas K was conceptualized with the intent of providing sophisticated customers with modern classics to become wardrobe staples.”
