On a recent Target trip looking for knick knacks and stocking stuffers, I found this sea shell print blazer and it is absolutely adorable. I am not a fan of print but in a jacket, I just can’t resist. A sea shell print on pants would be a risk because of my curvy thighs, but in a jacket, it helps disguise my pooch and arms without having to be boring and black.
One of the biggest issues I have been having lately is finding inspiration to put creativity into my wardrobe and outfit of the day. I sometimes admire the skinny and fit girls that can pull off the tub tops, long cardigans, ankle booties, acid wash denim and can tie a shirt in different ways to accent different parts of their body. Part of dressing a curvy body is knowing what features you want to play up, but when dark denim looks the best and structured jackets define the waist and bulky knits can add too much weight, it’s a challenge to make each outfit look different. I like this pattern because its fun without being too loud and its a change up from my usual color palette.

I love what you did with your outfit! I’m a bottom heavy curvy girl, and I realized the other day that dark denim is the way to go for me. Do you mind me asking what brand your boots are? I always have trouble fitting into knee high boots and I’m trying to get a good list of brands that fit curvier women. I sometimes envy skinny chicks because they can wear any boot out there, but I can’t.
The great things about my outfits is that each piece is usually very affordable. So my jeans were just $10 from H&M and my boots were $27 from a boutique in san diego called Q. They are just a generic brand, like literally I don’t think it had a name when i ripped off the tag.
That is such a fantastic blazer, I love the print and you look great in it!
Thanks! it was my own personal risk, but I’m glad I bought it
