Winter in San Diego isn’t something I look forward to, so I head to Julian for a small town Christmas experience. Even though I knew my winter printed leggings I posted last week might make me look fat and chunky, I purchased them anyways with the off chance that they would look good. I am still on the fence about keeping them. But even for this in between sizes, curvy girl body, these Christmas season leggings aren’t bad with an oversized knit sweater in this outfit of the day.

Julian was absolutely gorgeous. The drive up was sketchy because of the small town roads. When we finally made it to Main Street and Mom’s we knew we were on the right street. Originally, before I even moved to San Diego I had seen Mom’s on The Food Network. I knew I had to go at some point and eat their famous pie. I got the apple boysenberry crumb and Jay got the apple crumb pie, both with ice cream. It was absolutely divine. If you live in San Diego and have never taken the drive through the mountains to Julian, I advise it. All of the mom and pop stores decorate with wreaths and christmas lights. Just watch out for the deer, they dart across the street like they own the road.

I finally made it with just five days until I graduate from college. I am excited to go back to Seattle for Christmas and figure out my life from this point forward. I am living along the lines of “the world is my oyster” and “go where ever the wind takes me.”

Where I am at this point in my life..
Well done! I have been reading your blog for a while. Great job and congratulations on graduation!
Thanks! it is a bitter sweet ending. But I am excited to start the rest of my life.
I’ve been wanting those exact leggings! In the end I didn’t think I could pull it off, but I think they look great on you!
I was just wondering what size you are in clothing, because honestly, I think you pull off all your outfits so well, and they just compliment your body shape so well. Whenever I look at myself in the mirror, I can’t stop thinking, I just don’t look good in anything, and I don’t put an effort into what I wear anymore. Thanks! And you look really really good!
Thanks! sometimes I wonder if I am doing things right. My tops range anywhere from a Large to an Extra Large. Dress size is about a 12 to a 16 depending on the store and my pants size is a 12 to a 16 depending on the store and the pant.
My dilemma: regular stores stop at a 14, and a size 16 at a plus store has significantly different dimensions.
You should start a blog! I swear my style got way better once I started blogging about it
i got the same pair of leggings as you. but they didnt fit. Do you know what I can do to make them bigger? I am about the same size as you so I dont understand why the leggings don’t fit. Thanks:)
They don’t even really fit me, my butt is too big for them so they require an oversized sweater to wear with them. I haven’t worn them since because I left them in San Diego while I have been in Seattle. Try washing them in cold water and wearing them wet until they dry. That might stretch them out a bit.
